Ludwig-Marum-Gymnasium
2014 - 2022
Pfinztal, DE
I attended the Ludwig-Marum-Gymnasium in Pfinztal, Germany. I graduated in 2022 with an Abitur. In the IT class (Informatik), I improved my skills in Java and scored 15 points (the highest possible grade) in the final exam.
DHBW
2022 - Now
Karlsruhe, DE
I am currently attending the DHBW in Karlsruhe, Germany, where I am studying computer science (Informatik). During my studies, I have learned a lot about programming, web engineering, and software engineering. In the past semesters, I have worked on several group projects, where we developed software together. These projects helped me improve my programming skills and taught me how to work in a team. Through my studies, I have gained a better understanding of how software is designed, developed, and tested.

My Journey Cast in Code
Projects
44tw
Distributed Systems Project

This project's goal was to develop a 4-wins game (44tw, "4-for-the-win"). To handle the game and multiplayer logic, a WebSocket server is used.
Global COVID-19 Tracker
Big Data Project

The goal was to create a Global COVID-19 Tracker dashboard, visualizing the pandemic's impact globally, and on a per-country selection.
The implementation had to be in the scripting language R, which is oftenly used for creating data visualizations. The map component is based on the Leaflet library.
In the end, the functioning dashboard application was to be hosted on the ShinyApps platform.
FantasyRPG
Design Patterns Project

The FantasyRPG project enhances a game using design patterns and object-oriented techniques. Key features include
- SQLite-based database integration (Singleton pattern) for saving/loading game data
- expanded game world with a quest system (Observer pattern)
- and a turn-based combat system (Command and State patterns) with equippable items.
The project improved code structure and maintainability, with the biggest challenge being the transition from Java to C#.
simpleQ
Project

SimpleQ is a revolutionary question platform that leverages the power of AI to deliver faster answers than traditional platforms. But it's not just about AI. Both users and experts can answer questions, evaluate AI-generated responses, and engage in meaningful discussions.
SimpleChat
Project

This is a lightweight student project that features basic chat functionality. It is built using plain HTML, CSS, JavaScript and NodeJS. Users can chat with other users and create groups to chat with many users at once.
